Sooner or later just about everyone wonders, "What is God's purpose for my life?" This study gives you 8 of God's MANY answers to that question.

Eight Reasons Why God Created You
Reason #1: You were created to be loved by God... God knew and loved you even before He created the world. God loved you then. God loves you now.		The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jer 31.3 God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love Eph 1.4
Reason #2: You were created to love God		Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." Mt 22.37
Reason #3: You were created to love your neighbor		...You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Mt 22.39b For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another 1 John 3.11
Reason #4: You were created to worship God		The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. John 4.23

-->God speaks of your relationship to Him as being like the relationship of a bride to her husband...		For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name Isa 54.5a; see also 2 Cor 11.2b
A bride shares physical intimacy with her husband. So "worship" is spiritual intimacy with God. Thus, worship is when (in spirit and truth) you intimately *hug God's neck* and softly whisper your praise, love, joy and desire in His ear.		...as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. Isa 62.5b
Reason #5: You were created to have fellowship with God. "Fellowship" means "friendship and companionship between two individuals in a congenial atmosphere." It's awesome!!! God wants you and Him to be the closest, most intimate friends and companions. How do you have fellowship with God? Spend time with Him. Listen to Him. Talk to Him. Or just relax and quietly relish His presence.		And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 1 John 1.3b, NIV God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. 1 Cor 1.9, NIV
Reason #6: You were created to be one of God's special people. You bear God's name for God's glory!!! "Christ" is a name of God. As a Christian you bear God's name -- CHRIST-ian. Your bear Christ's name so that people who know you will think about Christ. Since you bear Christ's name, it is God's purpose that your lifestyle will reflect His glory unto mankind.		Jesus gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people Titus 2.14a (God said...) Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory Isa 43.7a, KJV (Jesus said...) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Mt 5.16
Reason #7: You were created to be a precious gift, given by the Father to His Son.		(Jesus said to the Father...) I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. John 17.6
Reason #8: You were created to have eternal life in the presence of God		(Jesus said...) And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. John 10.28 (Jesus said...) I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14.3b
