Introduction
A side-by-side Bible study is one where YOU must do the study.

God COMMANDS you to study...

  • Who study? YOU study. Not him study. Not her study. YOU study.
  • How study? SPOUDAZO!
Study <spoudazo> to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Tim 2.15

Spoudazo!

  • Make speed! Get busy! Work hard!
  • Get thee off thy buttocks and LABOR to show thyself approved unto God.
  Strong's 4704 - spoudazo, spoo-dad'-zo
to use speed, i.e. to make effort, be prompt or earnest:--do (give) diligence, be diligent (forward), endeavor, labor, study.

Bible Bell will provide you with verse comparisons, some word studies, and occasional comments.

  • It is YOUR job to draw-out God's truths from your Bible.
  • How can you do this?
  • SPOUDAZO! SPOUDAZO! SPOUDAZO!

The side-by-side method of study accords with the wisdom of an old saying as follows...

Tell me and I forget.
Show me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn.

By the way, you can ENSURE that your Bible study will truly be "side-by-side." Namely...

  • Invite Helper to join you in your studies.
  • Do so and Helper will come alongside you.
  • Then you and God will be working together...
  • SIDE - BY - SIDE!
(Jesus promised you...) Helper (the Holy Spirit) whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14.26
